Week 1 of the Four Soul Intentions Series centers on the physical body, known in Sanskrit as Sthula Sharira, the body of matter and energy. This is the foundation through which life expresses itself: muscles, bones, joints, organs, and the vital fluids that sustain you.

Through invigorating postures, mindful breath, and grounding awareness, you’ll learn to inhabit your body fully, releasing tension and awakening a sense of strength, spontaneity, and radiance that carries into every aspect of life.

Sthiram Sukham Āsanam | Steadiness and Ease

In the Yoga Sutras, Patañjali defines asana as sthiram sukham āsanam, steady, joyful ease. True posture arises when effort and surrender meet: stability without strain, strength softened by sweetness.

When you find this balance, your breath deepens, your nervous system relaxes, and energy flows freely—awakening the essence of a joyful energetic body.
